Life In Squares | September Edition

Always from left to right. 1. Welcome to my life in squares, September edition! 2. The Loop is eerily deserted on the weekends! 3. The perfect home address. Can anyone tell me how I can make this possible? 4. Date night at one of our favorite places, Mity Nice Grill at Water Tower. The best cheese puffs I’ve ever had. I usually eat too many and end up full before my meal comes! Oops. (;

1. Flying over somewhere in the midwest. 2. Walking through O’hare to catch a flight to Vancouver, Canada for a very special wedding! 3. Waiting for the train in Chicago. This guy has his sweat band on and is ready to rock at 8 at night! 4. Colorado sunsets. I just can’t get enough of them.

Lately I’ve started a little project capturing reflections in Chicago.. so you might see a lot more of these! 1. Lake Point Tower reflecting the skyline and surrounded by fall colors. 2. The Trump building reflecting buildings along the river. 3. A little shopping along Michigan Avenue. 4. More reflections of buildings in near north.

1. Be still my heart. A beautiful sunrise and calm water. I wish I could start everyday like this! 2. Sunset along the river. (Trump building on the left, Wrigley on the right) 3. Hello, moon! 4. The Tribune tower at night.

1. Night walks in our neighborhood. You might not be able to see stars when you live in the city but the city lights try their best to pretend as they light up the night sky.  2. Just a little obsessed with the Wrigley building and the Tribune tower. I am blown away every time I walk by them. 3. Concrete jungle. I LOVE the contrast of nature and architecture. I just find it so stunning to see the two side by side. 4. A perfect fall day in the city. Not a cloud in slight, almost no wind, and a perfect 70 degrees. A great way to end a wonderful month!

Make today a great day!

p.s. Any other photo must have apps you’ve been using lately?

    I always love your photos! Even when I love them on instagram, I still love seeing them again here! I’ve been loving VSCO cam. It’s nothing original, and it’s not particularly great for the beautiful landscapes and blues and greens are in your landscape pics. BUT, I love it for other things. It kind of gives it a natural, film-y look. Now, I’m NOT at all revolutionary by any means. I’m late to the party on that app, so don’t think that I think I’ve discovered something new. Anywho, have a great day!ReplyCancel

    Hey Tiffany! I’ve been kinda stalking your blog since Erika’s wedding :) I just wanted to tell you how amazing I think your pictures are. The reflections series is my favorite – it’s just amazing the things you can do with a camera. Hope you’re enjoying life in Chicago!ReplyCancel
